So, Here We Go... (My First Ever Blog Post!)

Heyyyy everyone! Or, like, anyone who stumbles across this little corner of the internet. It's officially September 6th, 2025, and it's barely 7:40 AM here in sunny (well, still kinda sleepy) Los Angeles. And guess what? I'm finally doing it. I'm starting a blog. Gulp.

For those of you who don't know me, hey! I'm Mandy. I'm 22, currently knee-deep in fashion design studies, and basically living on iced lattes and the dream of one day seeing my designs on a runway (or, let's be real, just looking cute on someone at Erewhon). I'm a total L.A. girl – love my yoga, binge-watching Netflix until 3 AM, and spending way too much time trying to find the perfect coffee shop with good vibes and even better natural light for my OOTD pics. Oh, and dating? Always an adventure, haha.

So why a blog, you ask? Honestly, I've been thinking about it for ages. I feel like I'm at this really wild, transformative point in my life. College is a whole rollercoaster, right? One minute I'm feeling like I've got it all figured out, the next I'm wondering if I should just pack it all in and become a professional dog walker. (No shade to dog walkers, but you know what I mean).

This blog is kinda my way of documenting it all – the fashion wins, the creative struggles, the hilarious dating fails, the moments of pure joy, and the times I just want to curl up in bed with a tub of ice cream. It's a space for me to process, to share, and maybe, just maybe, connect with some of you out there who are also navigating this messy, beautiful thing called early twenties.

I'm calling this my "Genesis" post because it really feels like the beginning of something new. I'm excited, a little terrified, but mostly just ready to dive in. Let's see where this takes us! Wish me luck! ✨
