Embracing Growth: Lessons from the Fashion Frontlines

Mandy

Hey, fashion fam! It's your girl Mandy, back with another update from the heart of LA. It's a mostly clear Monday morning, and as I sip my third cup of coffee (because, let's be real, one is never enough), I'm reflecting on the whirlwind that is Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW).

After days of sifting through the myriad of events—LA Fashion Week, the LA Fashion Show at the Beverly Center, and the International Fashion Weeks event—I've realized that trying to attend everything is a recipe for burnout. Instead, I've decided to focus on events that align closely with my design interests and personal growth goals.

First on my list is the LA Fashion Show at the Beverly Center on October 10th and 11th. This event promises a blend of established and emerging designers, offering a comprehensive view of current trends. Plus, the venue's central location makes it convenient amidst my hectic schedule.

Next, I'm eyeing the International Fashion Weeks event from October 14th to 21st. This global showcase will provide insights into international design perspectives, which is invaluable for broadening my creative horizons.

By narrowing my focus, I can immerse myself fully in each experience, absorbing the inspiration and knowledge that will fuel my journey as a designer. It's a lesson in quality over quantity, and I'm here for it.

So, here's to a more intentional approach to fashion week. Stay tuned, fashion fam. The adventure continues.

With love and a touch of espresso,

Mandy
